Evangelist Vallierie V. Lawson

Phenomenal Woman in Ministry and Community Service


Evangelist Vallierie V. Lawson is a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She and her husband have 2 children, 11 grandchildren,3 great-grandchildren and two special nephews. She was ordained on July 28,2019 and is a motivational speaker and visionary. She serves alongside her husband of 26 years, Reverend Dr. Dale A. Lawson, Senior Pastor of the legendary Markham, Illinois based ministry, Christ Temple Baptist Church.

At the church, Evangelist Lawson serves as the Director of The Sistah Fellowship Women’s Ministry of Christ Temple Baptist Church which she established over 10 years ago. Her aspiration is that the program becomes nationally acclaimed, with the proclivity to reach thousands of women in the Baptist Faith. Additionally, she aspires to foster an additional women’s ministry committed to the betterment of women who encounter life altering challenges such as abuse, divorce, joblessness, and grief.

A gifted and prolific speaker, Evangelist Lawson has facilitated workshops at various churches,

serving as the keynote women’s day speaker at various churches as well as serving as the facilitator for various ceremonial celebrations. Additionally, she has spearheaded a myriad of activities. Most dear to her heart being the purse drive, where each bag was filled with full sized essentials for homeless women. Under her guidance the Christ Temple Mission Ministry

Facilitated a toy and clothing drive for Christmas toys and gifts for a local south suburban shelter. Attending to the social activities of the community, Evangelist Lawson has coordinated an annual bake off for cancer survivors. In collaboration with the Sistah Fellowship Ministry, she has baked and continues to bake multiple cakes for donations which are used to purchase gifts for all cancer survivors who desire one; having personally served grater that fifty people annually. With such demand, fostered a second bake off fund raiser supporting the church’s Annual Love Fest Celebration. This program is designed for all women to fellowship and embrace one another in the spirit of Sistah love. This event having grown in popularity is filled with celebrations and gifting.

Evangelist Lawson’s biblically grounded pedagogical knowledge has allowed her to foster and share with believers and non-believers as she has coordinated women’s conference meetings featuring well renowned presenters. She also diligently serves the members of our congregation by assisting with health and medical procedures as needed. As a measure of maintain integrity, anonymity is always practiced as a guiding principle. Her perseverance has encouraged and uplifted those in Markham and surrounding communities.

Biographically, her service is her testimony. Her deep faith in God has afforded her multiple opportunities as a choir member and youth leader, rising from a space of destitute to glory. Such has been the evidentiary pieces when ministering as a Sunday School Teacher commitment to the Father.
